Behind Ultrapool
LOK Digital is developed by two members of Icedrop Games, Arseny "FreezedIce" Dremin and Ferran "Raindrinker" Ruiz Sala.
We have been working together on jam games for years, with the publishing of our first commercial game (Constellations: Puzzles in the Sky) in 2022. In 2024, Ferran collaborated with Letibus Designs to adapt Letibus' puzzle book LOK to the digital format, releasing the critically acclaimed puzzle game LOK Digital. After that success, we teamed up again to work on a new game, now a bit more away from the puzzle genre but still focusing on the sense of discovery and delightful interaction that Icedrop tries to find with our games.
Ultrapool was developed starting in May of 2025 and was quickly put in the hands of a few playtesting friends who gave us very positive feedback and whose productivity was somewhat ruined by Ultrapool. With that validation, we kept working on the game confidently. We hope you'll enjoy playing with your colorful balls as much as we enjoyed making the game!
